Stuart Dimson LAc Dipl, O.M. was first invited to train with Acupuncturist without Borders (AWB) by Dr Li Xin in November of 2008. The training was held in Shanghai China and taught by Dr Jacques Pialoux, founder of AWB Switzerland. Stuart returned to Shanghai China in October of 2009 to complete his training in preparation for leading a missions to train rural doctors, around the world, in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is a cost effective way to provide much needed healthcare to rural communities around the world. Stuart is passionate about this mission and honored to have the opportunity to work with such a renowned organization.
Since returning from China, Stuart has been charged with setting up an outreach and assessment program for communities in need, here in the United States. In collaboration with fellow Chinese medical doctor Brian Mears of Mountain Spirit Acupuncture, Stuart is reaching out to Native American communities in hopes of teaching acupuncture to meet their health care needs.
